I’m Not the Only One!
Jon Hicks is colorblind. Not just colorblind, but colorblind in the exact same way that I am — red/green colorblind (trouble differentiating blue/purple and red/green/brown). For years, I have wondered how my colorblindness would effect me as a designer. I know I’ve had collegues double-check my work and help out on press-checks and proofs, but haven’t really had to worry about it much. It has always seemed more like a talking point than a true disability.
